Grown on rainy terraces in the Yemen mountains of the Sanani
region this coffee is naturally processed which allows the bean to ferment and
dry in its own fruit juices imparting a distinct winey and fruity character…Blueberry
is the most obvious of a tremendous bouquet of flavors and aromas.
Interesting Note: Yemen is known
as the birthplace of coffee commerce. The
now dry sea port
of Mocca was the original
center of coffee trade in the 17th century.
