Bold, rich, & Nutty with vibrant dry chocolate undertones and a creamy mouthfeel. This is our original Espresso blend roasted to just above a medium level to maintain the subtle characteristics of the individual coffee components. Made as an espresso the nutty flavors are intense which come through nicely when added to milk. This is also an excellent blend to brew through a drip style coffee maker or a French Press.
An interesting Note: It is a common belief that ESPRESSO is a type of coffee, is always very dark and strong, & contains much more caffeine than other types of coffee. All of the above are false. Espresso is simply a blend of coffee specifically blended to taste good when brewed through an espresso machine. Because of the fast or "espresso" brewing process there is typically half the caffeine in a shot of espresso then in a regular cup of coffee. |
